RPX was founded with a vision to build athletes and leaders from the ground up.

Based in Avilla, Indiana, we provide high intensity, position specific training for linebackers and defensive ends as well as speed and general athletic development for all athletes. Our sessions emphasize movement, strength, football IQ, leadership, and character. We firmly believe that success begins with habits formed on the practice field.

At RPX, we believe that sports are more than just a game. We believe they are tools for human development. Athletes, who train with RPX, learn discipline, accountability, and leadership through every rep, every tackle, and every pursuit of excellence.

Coach Ben Miller Founder RPX

Ben Miller is a former All-American linebacker, three time national champion hammer thrower, former competitive powerlifter, and former SWAT operator. His mission is to build athletes who are disciplined, resilient, and purpose driven, both on and off the field.

After graduating from Churubusco High School, Ben went to Taylor University where he competed in football and track and field. As linebacker at Taylor, Ben earned First Team All-Conference honors, became an All-American, and was twice named the National Defensive Player of the Week by Don Hansen's Football Gazette. In his senior season, he recorded double digit tackles for loss and set the school's single season sack record.

In track and field, Ben became a three-time NCCAA (National Christian Athletic Association) national champion in the hammer throw.

He later moved on to competitive powerlifting. Ben set three world records for the IPA (International Powerlifter's Association) while competing in the 2014 Can-Am Police Fire Games in York, PA.

Beyond athletics, Ben has served the last twenty years in law enforcement with the Fort Wayne Police Department. Fifteen of those years were also spent as a member of the department's Emergency Services Team (SWAT). His law enforcement experience has helped shape his approach to pressure, teamwork, discipline, character, and attention to detail.

For the last three years, Ben has coached linebackers at Maple Creek Middle School. He has strived to help athletes increase their football IQ, technique, confidence, and has worked to instill habits that create an impact impact in their lives.

Ben firmly believes in the meaning behind RPX, the relentless pursuit of becoming better in every aspect of life.
